Re: Need LiveCodeSDK-R14 update and iPhone 6 Plus fix.
You can likely download the SDK and re compile the text to speech external again.
There may be some complexities for 64bit support though.
As a suggestion Monte 'may' do this for a fee.

Re: Example Stacks
Not sure if this helps but I have been using many of Monte's externals in Applications for some time and find them easy to use and extremely reliable. Reality is a LOT of the functionality you need to build worthwhile IOS Applications doesn't exist in LiveCode and mergEXT provides access to this fun...

Re: iOS 8 Support and New Features
FYI If I remove the externals from the copy files pane the App at least opens in the Simulator.
Looks like something may be a miss with the Externals and IOS8.1?

Re: iOS 8 Support and New Features
Hi Monte, Just updating an App for IOS8 tonight and have downloaded 6.6.5 (Latest GM) and Xcode 6.1 (Latest GM) and the latest of your externals. Unfortunately I am getting an error when I try to run the App in the Simulator stating that lC could not find appropriate builds of your externals for 8.1...

Re: Native-looking settings on iOS
If you actually want to integrate into the iOS settings app take a look at montes merg externals.
Merg settings does just that.
If it's more just the table object take a look at tmControls2 new table object.
It has an example of the settings pane..

Re: rremicrophone ext and LC 6.6.1: no way to get it working
I'm fairly sure the mergMicrophone external on Monte's website is under the free section so you can potentially use that?
I have used it in the past doing some experimenting and it worked fine for me.
Cheers

Building Externals xCode 5.1.1
Hi, I am trying to build one of trevor's externals (iosclipboard) from Github for IOS7.1 I have built this in the past on previous versions of xCode without any issues but now on xCode 5.1.1 I am getting errors everywhere. Is there any obvious tricks with the new xCode I have missed? EDIT: Looking a...

Hi MIchael, The Arduino Yun comes with the WIFI all built in (Both capabilities for AP and Client mode operations) which removes the need for buying any external modules for it. The cost of the Yun is indeed more than the other Arduino Modules but if you look around they can be had for around $60.00...

Hi Paul,
Upload a test stack here (place it in a ZIP file) and I and others will be happy to take a look.
Is this stack using full screen mode by any chance?
EDIT: Ignore the above, just read your first post...

Re: Bluetooth
Hi Michael, LiveCode doesn't currently support bluetooth communication as such for communicating with the Arduino systems. Monte (mergExternals) may be working on an BLE External for iOS in the future but there is no release date for this that I am yet aware of. However, being a fellow Arduino and P...

Any chance you could put together an example stack of LiveCode controlling / reading the IO on the Pi?
