Re: Struggling Handling Focus of 1 field
If you want to keep the graphic, then you need to Disable the graphic... Select the Pointer Tool, then double click on the graphic, then check the "Disabled" box in its Basic Properties palette.

Craig, thanks. That seems to work well, though I must admit I don't know why! Any explanation?

Why does this knob wobble?
Can someone tell me why this knob wobbles slightly when I turn it? Does the graphic frame need to be round (not square)?

Re: What is the standard Mac Button Font?
Hi again. Perhaps I was unclear... My question is really about just using LiveCode- not in making a standalone. When I am creating scripts and dragging buttons on cards I am not getting the Lucida Grande 13 in my LiveCode default buttons. Is this a bug and can I change the way LiveCode works so that...

Re: What is the standard Mac Button Font?
Thanks for the responses. Weird. When I drag a new button and look at the font that was used I get no name or size showing in the object editor/Text Formatting pallete. The font name and font size fields are actually empty! If I type in a size such as 10 then next time I select it, the font name Luc...

What is the standard Mac Button Font?
What is the standard Mac Button font and size? It is really surprising that the standard Mac default font is not the one selected when you drag a new button onto a LiveCode card. It used to be Chicago font at size 12, then Charcoal. I tried Charcoal but it isn't right on my Mac. Why can't Run Rev ma...

Was this Midi Input project ever developed further? I would love to be able to receive Midi Sysex data into LiveCode to process it!

Can LiveCode Control the CD ROM Drive to Play Audio?
Does LiveCode have the ability to control the CD ROM drive built in to the computer such as to play an audio CD? Can we play a track from an audio CD inserted in the computer? Can we control the player's controls ie. Play, Stop, Eject, etc? For example can we play song 2 on the audio CD disc from 3 ...

How to Re-select LiveCode as the "live" app on a dragdrop?
Hi LC Gurus, I am implementing a simple drag and drop of a data file from the Mac Finder into a text field. I have a dialogue come up if the destination field already has something in it asking if I want to replace the data. The problem I am having is that when the dialogue comes up, the Mac Finder ...

TheKnob! v102
Hi Folks, Here's "The Knob" version 102. Thanks to magice's suggestion, I have it working pretty well and the knob value is coming back to just one spot (my goal) which is the "mouseMove" handler in the knob's script where the knob's value can be directed and used as further needed in your stack. Th...

Re: Round Circular Knob Object
Magice, (My original response was premature.) Thanks for the tip but unfortunately it is not what I need to do. I want to be able to do something with the current value from within the script of EACH KNOB and not from within the main stack script. I want the main script to remain generic so I don't ...
