How do I fix my standalone to display its name on the Unity panel instead of LiveCode?
Also is there a way to get my menu to integrate with the Unity panel?

Re: Ubuntu/Android
I cannot get livecode to recognize the path to the JDK in the mobile support section of the preferences stack. The release notes say it may have to be manually set for linux, but I don't have an available field in order to set it manually. Using Ubuntu 12.04. :? Please advise. :? Update: This seems...

Re: Is there a 5.5 trial available somewhere?
while you can't yet build 64-bit apps, your apps will run fine on a 64-bit machine though they will run in 32-bit mode. RR knows this needs to be changed and they're working on it. Albeit the expense of having a few hundred MBs of 32bit crossover library dependencies installed which are near useles...

Did you make sure that "Unknown Applications" setting is checked on your phone?

Re: Back key creates black screen
If I hit the back key in my app, the app closes, but it is still open according to task manager. Not a bug, I agree ( EDIT: This IS a bug because as per the documentation, LiveCode closes the app when the backKey message is not captured by a handler). However I think this is where qberty may have s...

Re: Back key creates black screen
I think this is a known bug that should be fixed for the next minor version release, or so is indicated by support.

Re: Setting Up LiveCode Server on a Shared HostGator Server
Could you tell us more about your experience with HostGator, in terms of quality etc. ? I've been with them for about 4 years I think and the service seems solid. I've had very few issues and when I did have an issue, customer support had me fixed up in less than 24 hrs. I think the price is fair. ...

Setting Up LiveCode Server on a Shared HostGator Server
I had a time figuring this out so I'll share what I did in 3 simple steps. Do the following to get LiveCode Server up and running on your shared HostGator server by doing the following: 1. Unzip the livecode-server for linux package into your /public_html/cgi-bin/ directory. 2. Set the permissions o...

Re: Ubuntu/Android
??? There should be a "..." button next to the path which will allow you to navigate to the proper folder. Yup, I have that, and it allows me to set the path to the ADK. But I cannot manually set the path to the JDK, there is no "..." button for the JDK path. I have had the JDK installed in the sam...

Re: Ubuntu/Android
The path to the ADK is /home/user/android
The path to the JDK is /home/user/android/jdk1.6.0_35
The emulator is running successfully and the system seems to be using the correct JDK as default.
