LiveCode 4.6 Commercial Upgrade to 5.5
I currently am running LC 4.6 Commercial and would like to know if anyone can help me out with why I would want to upgrade to 5.5. I haven't built much in the LC yet but hope to build a sorta internal Invoicing, Inventory, POS program for our company on Windows and Linux. Some of my main features I ...

Datagrid Form
Is it possible to have a datagrid form with column headers that can be sorted? Like basically a combination of a table and form in one really i guess. Like shown here: http://s3.amazonaws.com/screensteps_live/step_images/runrev/7302/Data_Grid_Forms_display.png?AWSAccessKeyId=19JMR1FABXNXQR79AGG2&Exp...

Re: Linux Build Visual Issue
Can someone tell me if they can deploy my app to linux and if it look the same as it does in the IDE and windows. When I deploy to linux the words style look up in the header area of the app appear off the screen to the left. I have no clue as to why either. If anyone has any ideas after checking my...

Re: Image Zoom
Ok... Got it somewhat but my zoom image is well not quite right. It appears to not be scaling correctly and the zoom window just
ends up being a copy of the origImage. Anyone care to take a look and see what the problem might be?

Re: Image Zoom

When I open the script it of course shows the image in OrigImage but the filename is blank so how in the world does the image become loaded in the origImage field in the first place? You see my app sets the image filename i...

Re: Image Zoom
Thanks townsend,
I can't figure out how the initial image on origImg was set. When you look at the source there is no value. Any idea?
The reason I ask is I'm trying to figure out how to use this idea in my own app but if i don't understand it i of course
cant use it
hope you can help.

Does anyone know where I can find an example of how to create an image zoom similar to http://www.professorcloud.com/mainsite/cloud-zoom.htm. I would like when the user mouses over an image it ...

Re: Linux Build Visual Issue
I think I may have figured out the problem. I think my text box was wider than the screen to the left side and for some reason this caused by label box to go from being right justified to left justified and then it ended up starting at the very edge of the box off the screen. ill have to check for s...
