Re: SMS text messages
I saw it's been over 1 year since the last update on this post - what's the status of incoming SMS Text messages on LiveCode for Android?
I want to create an app that does a specific action when an incoming SMS that contains a certain keyword is sent into the phone.

Re: Showcase of Android Apps made with LiveCode
it's been over 6 months .. in the mean time it feels like I've had 100 emails from RunRev trying to get me to upgrade to the commercial version but what I want to see is some examples of Apps created using LiveCode, especially now that there is supposed to be a resizing option available for screen s...

Re: Multiple resolutions, resize stack a solution
I'm really confused as to why the 4 buttons I drew would spill over the edge on my Samsung Galaxy note. The canvas on LiveCode was only 480 Pixels wide whilst my Samsung had 800 pixel so if anything it should have been taking up only about a half of the screen. All I can assume is this is some kind ...

Re: 6.0.5 dp1 errors with .png photos
Good to know but I'm kinda confused by the new update. if I want to design an Android App then does it require me to use any special code to set up the automatic resizing? I created a small test App, all it was, was an 480 by 800 pixel screen with 4 buttons, one in each corner this was the resolutio...

Re: Multiple resolutions, resize stack a solution
I've not created an Android App in LiveCode since June 2013 - is there anything new with regards to resizing in Android I should know about before beginning a new project? I know LiveCode has been updated several times in the last 4 months but didn't see anything new from RunRev about it having new ...

To be honest I found those instructions a bit complicated and hard to follow .. However ... I did find this handy tool which helped me sign my App - the only problem was it seemed to alter the quality of my PNG Files so my app works but looks fuzzy - espacially onmy Samsung Galaxy Note which has a ...

Showcase of Android Apps made with LiveCode
Can anyone point me to any examples on the Google Play store of Apps that were made with LiveCode?
I just want to see what is possible using LiveCode and if they're free Apps then I'd love to see how they look on different sized screens.

Re: How to generat a .keystore file?
Fair Do's that OpenSource doesn't mean something has to be easy to use ... But most OpenSource projects I've ever had any experience of didn't started off with over 10 years as a closed source commercial venture and then made a massive switch one day. As a newcomer to all of this it feels like RunRe...
