Re: widget Browser not opening URL with picture

Thank you so much Hermann!

It's a great start to understand how this works! I have put that into place , the picture shows up but temporarily rotates after few mouseUp and regains initial state. Is that what it is supposed to do or a step is missing?

Regards

Re: widget Browser not opening URL with picture

Hi Hernann, Thx surprisingly the "http" vs "https" did the trick but i think it should be fixed or mentioned. Could you kindly provide a hint regarding the userAgent method? Being a total noob in java , will anything like (do" transform....rotate...") do what expected or is it a little more complex?...

widget Browser not opening URL with picture

Hi All, After some testing I am unable to open an URL containing a GIF or JPEG with the widget whereas it works properly when creating a mobile browser, any known issues ? By the way is it possible to load a GIF or JPEG through the browser, rotate the picture and display it back through the browser?...

Re: Changing PDF orientation or rotating PDF before display

Sorry for the late feedback, i played with the PDF.js and it worked but not to my taste. I am abandoning that direction and I will work with JPEG and GIF instead,

Thx

Re: New approach for offline viewing PDF inside Android browser

Hi Capellan, I am on LC9.0.1 MAC version, on android your given script doesn't work (blank page) using Max's example. I was hoping to make this work with the PDF.js viewer as well but no joy. For the purpose of my app i am looking into an embedded browser solution, I am accessing PDF of daily weathe...

Re: New approach for offline viewing PDF inside Android browser

Hi All,
As minimum built is 4.1 now (2.3.3) not available, therefore this method is still showing blank PDF unfortunately. Any workaround available ?

Thx

Re: Changing PDF orientation or rotating PDF before display

Thanks a million ! That's what I thought. Then I will try to work with PDF.js and bypass the widget for the rendering. Any guidance on how to proceed ? (i.e where to include the plugin in my app and how to call the viewer through the widget..etc...) Thank you all for your feedback PS: I used to deve...

Re: Changing PDF orientation or rotating PDF before display

I haven't tried that yet since I want to do it first on the Mac before porting it eventually to Android, that is why I am looking into a more general approach. Preferably from within the Browser widget with some javascript code if achievable.

Thank you.

Re: Changing PDF orientation or rotating PDF before display

Hi All,

If i understood we could execute the "transform = rotate (--deg)" javascript in the widget.browser but can anyone indicate in which "container" is loaded the PDF when displayed in widget.browser?

I appreciate any hint!

Thx

Re: Changing PDF orientation or rotating PDF before display

Hi Jacqueline,

The app is indeed meant to be for android and in portrait mode. The app loads PDF (large charts) but most of them are in landscape mode. I should be able to rotate them for a proper display.
The best option is to use the Browser control since it takes care of the zoom in & out.

Thx
