I saw in the forum archive that this subject was brought up maybe 7-10 years ago without a solution, but a lot has changed since then so I am hoping someone might know how (or have a suggestion) to save a sound file on iOS so that it shows up in the user's ringtone list.
Any insights or links would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

As far as I am aware it is not possible to export sound from LiveCode.

Re: saving sound files as ringtones on iOS
There is a external (by Monte) included that can record to a file on macOS/iOS, it seems to save as a .caf (CoreAudioFormat) file by default. I haven't really looked into it much.
