I cant see my gif after i compiled

I imported a gif as an image to my app
and after I compiled i couldn't see the gif
it worked in livecode
any ideas?

What platform was the standalone compiled for?
What version of LC are you using?

That sound like a path issue
Did you import your gif as a control or referenced control ?

Why are you using such an ancient version?
Please try the same process using 9.6.1.
