looking for libSMTP253.rev

Post by reelstuff » Wed Aug 01, 2007 3:52 pm

I am looking at using a send email function in a script, I saw several references to a libSMTP253 in several posts in various forums, but could not find the original rev file, anyone know where I can get the libSMTP253.rev

I did find a altEmailHarness.rev but could not find the supporting stack included in it.

I also found the libSMTP250 but it is not complete.

Thanks in advance for any info or a link

Dear reelstuff,

I don't think that 2.5.3 is available yet. You should ask the author about it.

Hi, I saw some mention of this in several places, in online forums

http://forums.runrev.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1078

I also found a link on sons of thunder, for the 2.5.3 version
but the link is bad.

It must be out there somewhere, as for the author, I believe that he is no longer working on this.

If anyone has this or knows where I can download it please let me know.

thanks

Mark

Hi,

www.shaosean.tk

If you are on the Rev User Mail list, you might have author's e-mail address. I don't know if I can post the e-mail address here so I'd rather not.

Thanks for the link, apparently, that is an older version, so still on the look out, I will try contacting him and see if he still has a copy around.

thanks for the help

Actually, libSmtp253 is included in Altuit's wrapper stack. Open the Application Browser and you'll see it is there as a substack.

To extract it as a separate stack, modify the mainStack property of this substack - use the Stack Inspector, go to the Basic Properties Panel, then the Main Stack options menu, and just change that to libSmtp253.
