Re: Neural Network
The way things are going in this thread, other things, such as heads, will get SPLIT as well.

Dispute (temporary topic)
This topic is a placeholder for posts originally posted to another section of the forums. In keeping with the uncommonly light moderation these forums enjoy, rather than delete the posts altogether the community consensus was to move them to a more appropriate place, and here they are.
This is a minor matter as such things go, and once it's resolved this topic will be deleted.

Thank you very much, Richard!
There are a lot of postings missing here, however.

Re: Dispute (temporary topic)
The off-topic portion of the thread spanned many pages, and had to be done in stages. At the moment the old thread appears to be clean, and I've moved everything I can here.

Aha, get it, sorry!
Re: Dispute (temporary topic)
FYI -> The bottom line is, Mr. Felker just does not want to pay!

Unfortunately I have been in a similar situation, and I'm sure a lot of other people have been as well.
At a certain point, short of going round and robbing the person or getting involved in a legal case (which
will probably cost more that the thing is worth), one just has to nod one's head and walk away.

Contractors in most industries will probably have a moment like this at least once in their careers. Fortunately in this case the client has acknowledged the debt, and described the payment as merely delayed due to cash flow issues. Hopefully a mutually-acceptable payment plan will resolve the matter.richmond62 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 6:06 pmUnfortunately I have been in a similar situation, and I'm sure a lot of other people have been as well.

Re: Dispute (temporary topic)
Disappointing that he would choose to drag this out after publicly agreeing to pay as funds are available. I'd imagine anyone in a position to hire multiple LC devs who "have excellent proficiency with LiveCode" could cover a mere $400, even if it needs to be broken into a few payments.Klaus wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 8:20 pmHi Richard, which Mr. Felker refuses to even think about!FourthWorld wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 6:29 pmHopefully a mutually-acceptable payment plan will resolve the matter.

Hi Richard,
"Disappointing" is the euphemism of the week, I think.
