Re: Neural Network
I may have missed something, but I don't see you as a villain, and I haven't seen a post from others suggesting that.
Maybe I was optimistic, but since there is a discussion now happening here, I was hoping perhaps it might continue between the two of you.

Re: Neural Network
As long as channels of communication are open
there is always a chance of some sort of civilised solution
to a situation, even if it does take a long time.

Hi Richard,
obviously you missed these lines:
does not sound or look like they felt being over-charged by me!

Hopefully his new interest in communicating can find expression in email as well.

Re: Neural Network
It still looks like airing one's dirty laundry in public, and I'm sure
there are better ways of sorting things out.

Re: Neural Network
Sure it is and I already apologized, but this is the only place where I can "meet" Mr. Felker.richmond62 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 6:22 pmIt still looks like airing one's dirty laundry in public..

Re: Neural Network
I don't agree to resolve this in private correspondence.
This is a deal that started in the developer marketplace here in the forum.
Consequently, when one side (karmacomposer) so obviously does NOT stand to the contract then this should be handled in the forum. Everybody who is or ever will be interested in selling developer services should know that.
[One could move this thread to the developer marketplace, the "neural network" content is of secondary importance here anyway.]

Re: Neural Network
I'm with Klaus.
And i'm sorry for you Klaus, i was once also interested. But reading his contracts, i did not get a good feeling. So i'm glad i did not join.
I hope for you that you get your payment.

All I do know is that Klaus is a good person.
AND if the only way to resolve this thing is to wave the other party to the contract's
dirty linen in public, so be it.

Re: Neural Network
My hope is that, now that Mike has resurfaced and is apparently communicative, he'll be forthright in replying to Klaus' email.
This is a support forum, and is not an ideal venue for dispute settlement. The only way to resolve the matter publicly would be to post the contract and all correspondences, an archive I'd rather not see fill up these forums. And nothing here could be any more binding than what the two parties work out among themselves anyway, so I see little benefit in replacing a private settlement with a public discussion.
Mike, your continuing this conversation with Klaus in email would be much appreciated.

Re: Neural Network
Mike,
I would really love to sort this out, and am still open for proposals.
I would still agree to deferred payment and am even willing to lower the amount of outstanding
money, but I need a sign of good will from you, please no more "Steve said he will pay you on XXX" etc.
I am sorry you so much bad luck in the past, accident and so, but I have my own problems!
So please tell me here in the "public", are you willing to pay the money in the next time?
Which was not over-charged, and you know that, see below.
This was the last thing I heard of you and this does also not look like I had been over-charging you:

BestKlaus,
Been dealing with my accidents for the last 5 months. 4 of them being in and out of hospitals. The moment we get our 1st Rubidex client we will pay you.
Be well.

Re: Neural Network
That should be sufficiently motivating to prompt Mike to reply via email.
May we let this rest in this forum a bit to allow the chance for this to proceed in email?

Re: Neural Network
I will talk with Klaus privately about all this, but I never called him a villian and he did help us - but at the same time, ORIGINALY, we set some financial guidelines and got zonked when we did not expect to - we allocated a specific amount of funds for additional coding and all went to Klaus.
In the end, we simply ran out of money because Klaus' bills were larger than we ever expected or talked about.
I have high regards for Klaus and his abilities, but since we have not made one penny yet, I have no choice but to wait until we do - and then I will finish this - in private.
That said, I felt forced to say something publicly due to Klaus' very public displays.
Also, what we hired Klaus for was to create a prototype - we never received payment for said prototype, so money only went out. We never received any. Once all money was spent, it was spent.
Be forewarned, Klaus is good, but he will charge you for every second you talk with him - much like a lawyer. That was NEVER agreed upon.
I'll say no more publicly.
Mike

As I wrote in the "Deveolper Service Marketplace" I made a lot very generous proposals
like payments by installments and whatnotall, but he did not show any will or attempt to pay a single cent!
And yes, sorry, I also hate to do this here, but this is the only way to get in contact with him, he stopped to answer
my mails earlier this year, if someone has a better solution or proposal for my dilemma, I am all ears!
I have received no emails from you.

Oh, and we paid you plenty of money before it ran out. Don't make it seem like we paid you nothing. Just the last $400 were in question and debate.
