Sehen - Hören - Merken (german app)
Oops, completely forgot to show my apps here!
Earlier this year I created an app for my customer:
Sehen - Hören - Merken (see - hear- memorize), german only.
It is a accompanying and free app for a not free hardware game for kids, printed cards with
the picture of an animal on one side and a corresponding QR-code on the backside.
It currently contains only one game. My customer may want to add more games in the future.
Basically the kids need to scan the QR-code, the app will play the corresponding sound of
an animal and kids need to guess the animal.
Take a look here if you like:
iOS

Android
<https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... rken&pli=1>
Info:
This was my very first contact with mobile development in LC and I bought my very first cellphone (sic!) for this job.

Re: Sehen - Hören - Merken (german app)
Fun fact:
If you enter the correct and full name of the app in the Google Play Store:
Sehen - Hören - Merken
The result is "Not found"!?
However if you enter a misspelled name:
Sehen - Hören - Merkn
note the missing E in Merken, the app will be found immediately?
I had asked and informed Google about this drawback, and they responded with a lot
of pseudo-technical bullshit, which did of course NOT explain anything.
I cannot take Googles search algorithms seriously anymore, not that I ever did.

Klaus,
Congratulations for this nice apps !
Regarding the Google and K controversy, as a Qwant user for many years, I stopped using Google mainly because of privacy issues.
So I don't have much sympathy for this search engine and its parent company, but in this "K" controversy, I'm inclined to come to its defense.
Indeed, given the number of words that make up the query, it's conceivable that Google wouldn't understand the question as "give me the list of countries in Africa that begin with 'K'", but as "give me a list of web content that contains the most words in the proposition: the country in Africa that starts with 'K'".
Seen in this light, Google's answer seems rather pertinent, even if it tears a testicle off me to admit it.
