Consistency of textSize in fields of standalones

I built a whole slew of standalones about 7 years ago for EFL teaching to kids.

They were running with the fontSize in the standalones being the same as the stack until Edubuntu 7.10.

On subsequent Ubuntu releases the fontSize shrunk to an awful, small size.
The attachment textSizeProb.jpg is no longer available
The original stack is on the left: the standalone [generated by RunRev 2.2.1] is on the right.

The original stacks were authored on a Macintosh system running Mac OS 10.4 (hence 'charcoal')

When a new standalone is hived-off using Livecode 6.6 Community the fontSize problem seems to resolve itself:
