Hi - from Oxford

Post by Tony0807 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 4:10 pm

Nice to meet you all...

I'm in the process of developing a website that combines several ideas - 3D modelling, tutorial support and RPG gaming - I very much want to take a module approach to cut down on the interevention the GM's (me included  ) will have to make.

I saw Rev with the adventure game modules as a good environment for bring aspects together - I can use Vue 6 to animate and expand the gaming experience...

My problem inexperience- the last time I programmed was back in the 1970's at tech and I hand punched onto cards...

The other issue I have is that when I click on the help button on the Game maker I get nothing - nor can I find a pdf in the installation that looks promising. What am I doing wrong?

My version is 2.7.4 rev A build 291...

Oh, is this the latest build? I get a message about 2.81 having been available last year and saying I could upgrade. Just wondered why I didn't get the newest version - or is that due to downloading the demo first :?:

TIA for your help
