I recently published a new video "Automated Conversion from FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Access or Visual FoxPro into LiveCode.", step by step guide to building a new LiveCode application from an existing database application. Using FmPro Migrator Platinum Edition, this video provides an overview of the features included in the converted stack file including: images in BLOB columns, a comparison of LiveCode 8 and LiveCode 7 conversions - showing the differences between Push Buttons, Tab Controls and Segmented Widgets and lineGraph widgets.

Re: Automated Conversion from FileMaker, Access or Visual Fo
I had not planned to add support for Open Office Base, because nobody had asked for it previously. I generally need to hear from quite a few people on a regular basis to add support for a new database. Especially for not only a data conversion but also for conversion of the GUI and scripts.
In fact, I didn't even know it supported forms until I looked it up today.
But if you say to me that you have a large project having over 500 forms which needs converted - then that changes everything. For large projects, it becomes economical to explore automation thru doing it as a consulting project.
