I have been very silly indeed (not for the first time): if you look in the 'Toolset' directory of Livecode 6.6 you will find a "revvariablewatcher.rev" file.

If you move that into your plug-ins folder it might prove useful.

What I don't understand is why that file is there in the Toolset' directory when there seems to be no way to caal it up from within the IDE.

Presumably the reason why the Variable Watcher has "disappeared" in recent versions of Livecode/Revolution is because it has been
integrated into the script editor.
