If you want to create your own font from mobguicons (or other fonts available online) with just the symbols that you need for your app, then read on...
I've added a new download to http://www.mobgui.com - the SVG icon files used to create the mobguicons fonts. I use http://fontello.com/ to create the fonts from the SVG icons - I'll post more detailed instructions when I get some time. If you name your font with 'icons' in the title, then it will be targeted by MobGUI when you click on the 'Font' labels to the left of the font drop down boxes for selecting icons for icon-buttons.
Here are the settings I use on fontello (let me know if you find better ones!);

Re: Create your own fonts!
Thanks, Simon. I thinks it's a good option to have when developing an app - including just one custom font with all the icons you need instead of including all the fonts. There maybe quite a few more fonts in the future, so you won't have to include a whole bunch of them!

A good resource for making icons and fonts--I will be using it this week.
Thanks for the great work, and a LOT of work, you have been doing on MobGUI.

Hi John,
Creating your own fonts is a lot of fun and I've been doing it all day .
What size did you use for your icons?
I notice some difference with your standard size icon and mine.
greetings,
William

Re: Create your own fonts!
Hi, Sandy & William - thanks for the feedback.
I was originally designing at 30x30 pixels using inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/). I'm no font expert and the icons seemed to overlap each other - I still don't know why! After some experimentation, I noticed that changing the page size to 32px wide (leaving the extra 1px at each side blank) solved the problem, so I've been designing at 32x30 since.williamdesmet wrote:What size did you use for your icons?
