Cannot put a second datagrid on the card.

Post by CAsba » Fri Jun 16, 2023 12:08 pm

Hi,
The card has a DG that is part of a document, invoice.
I need to put a second DG on the card (in preference to putting it on anoither card) to retain the contents of each numbered invoice for recall/reprint as and if necessary.
For some reason when I click and try to drag a DG frtom the tools pallette, nothing happens.
Any ideas why ?

Can you do this by:
1. Doubleclicking the DataGrid Icon in the TOOLS palette
or
2. Selecting menu -> Object: New Control: Data Grid
?

Best

Klaus

Both of you.

I have no issue either dragging or double-clicking new DG's onto a new card.

Mac OS 13.4, LC 9.6.9.

I also have had that problem on Windows.
Use the same workaround Klaus mentioned.
