Is this tutorial the state of the art of controlling iTunes with LC or I'm found just an old tutorial?

I mean, have I follow this guide to play iTunes in my project? I ask this because I seems to recall that RunRev team added some new commands to control music but maybe they are for mobile....

Thank you Klaus!

Unfortunately the example provided with the lesson it is not very suitable for those who want to learn from scratch. It combines together too many techniques including the management interface, skinning, using of various stacks, code abstraction and so on. I would like to see a simplest example, someone knows if there is more basic example to learn how to create a list of playlist and songs and other basic tasks?

Hi Mag,

yep, that's highly counterintuitive, but that's the way iTunes works!
Complain to Apple :D

Yes, this is the reason because I believe that, in an official LC documentation, it would be better to just put a text field and a button (like in the attachment) to show a feature to beginners.

Anyway, kudos to the stack's "Remote-Control.rev" author.

BTW: User Samples today makes LC to freeze or it happens just to me?

I made a very simple stack to make you understand the basics for those who want to start with iTunes on Mac. I attached it here, may could be useful to someone.

PS
For documentation on the available commands, I recommend this stack: http://livecodeshare.runrev.com/stack/2 ... umentation
