LC 6.6 RC2 - Could not find appropriate build of external

Hi Monte,

I have just downloaded the latest LC (Commercial) build, 6.6 RC2. When building a standalone to test (in iOS simulator, for iOS 7.1) I get the message "Could not find appropriate build of external '<external name>' for Simulator-7_1". This doesn't happen if I select a test target of iOS v 6.1.

Does this mean we need to wait for new versions of all the externals for iOS 7.1 (which I doubt you would relish), or is something else going wrong?

Yes that's exactly it. Normally I manage to release my builds for new SDKs before the final LC release for that SDK but it hasn't happened this time because I've been a little out of action lately. I'm hoping to sort it out today or early next week.

FYI I'm still getting errors with mergZXing and mergNIC when attempting to build for iOS7.1. mergAES and mergDropbox seem fine. Haven't tested the others.

There's a new build of mergZXing up. Are you sure mergNIC was causing an issue and not just mergZXing?

the new mergZXing is now working, but mergNIC 1.0.4 still generates the same warning when testing in the simulator set to iOS 7.1. When saving as a standalone I get "linking for armv7 failed with Undefined symbols for architecture armv7:"__libinfoptr_mergNIC*, referenced from: -u command line option Id: symbol(s) not found for architecture armv7". Tried with 6.6.0 and 6.6.1 (rc 1)

Hi Monte,

I have two enhancement requests for your "Download" page

1. Add the info if the external is already ready for iOS 7.x and
2. Maybe offer one ZIP archive with ALL externals in it, so downloading
will be bit easier for us.
