Can you please share me the details of the setup you are using including the Raspberry Pi and the Amplifier?
What are the specifications of the LC 7.0.4?
Can you please share all of your hardware details and their specifications?
I am looking for a Raspberry Pi based amplification?

Re: LC 7.0.4 on Raspberry Pi 2
LiveCode has no special features that target Raspi peripheral devices.
But there is a free OS that especially supports amplifiers connected to Raspi.
You could start there: Volumio.
(Compatible with every model of Raspberry Pi up to Pi 2.)

Re: LC 7.0.4 on Raspberry Pi 2
Hi 'Fourthworld', Richard,
which Raspbian version do you use. Wheezy or Jessie?
If it's Jessie we have the culprit why LC doesn't run on your new Raspi.
If you don't need a special feature of Jessie or have a second SD card available for a "Livecode-configuration" then you can download latest Wheezy from here (was hard to find out):
http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspbi ... 015-05-07/
So that's at least here a fact:
LiveCode 6.5.1 and 7.0.4 run fine on Raspberry Pi 2 when using Raspbian Wheezy.
LiveCode 6.5.1 and 7.0.4 do NOT work on Raspberry Pi 2 when using Raspbian Jessie.
LiveCode 6.5.1 and 7.0.4 do NOT work on Raspberry Pi 3 or Raspberry Pi Zero.
HTH, Hermann

Re: LC 7.0.4 on Raspberry Pi 2
Quick update on my Pi experiments in case anyone's wondered about LC Server compatibility:
I'm running LC Server 7.0.4 on Raspian "Jesse" Lite, and it runs quite well.
Lite was a good fit for me, since this Pi will be doing only admin tasks so I don't need a GUI or the extra apps. I must say, the Pi 2's GUI was slow enough to be off-putting, but without a GUI it's more than acceptable. Kinda fun, actually. Nice to see LC Server works well on it.
