I've had this demo sitting untouched for well over a year - which is a bit of a shame as it shows some (IMHO) nice animation with LiveCode. It was (and still is) marked for inclusion in the MobGUI library, so I've dusted off the cobwebs and here it is

Thanks, JM. The original video is still on youtube: http://youtu.be/xa0Id4IIyb0
You can customize the carousel by dropping in your own images. Any static images in the carousel group should have their carousel["static"] set to true
There are also a couple of hidden buttons;
Show : shows the set up ovals. Resize the big one to define the carousel shape the images will move around. Adjust the vertical distance of the small circle from the large one to control the z-axis depth.
Setup : apply the new setup defined by the ovals.

Following Nakia's advice and hoping John's permission
I've added click sound functionality as seen in picker wheel of iOS. I've marked my additions with my name in order to prevent any confusion.
If any problem occurs, first remove or comment out my additions.
I haven't done any change or removal to the original code.
Best,
~ Ender
